I have setup a new app to send an sms mesage but found an issue
The system only allows phone numbers starting with +1
I’m in the UK so I need to be able to input +44
Is this a bug, or can SMS only be sent to US numbers?

Very happy with this quick response.
Thank you to the Hubitat guys

A follow up here!
I’m in Sweden (+46) and can’t get SMS to work. I noticed the UK support in a recent change log, but I guess that was UK only and not the rest of Europe?

I tried to send a sms with the rule machine but didn't receive it. I live in the netherlands (+31), i did see the rule trigger in logging but didnt receive anything.
Not sure we have Netherlands setup yet. Will investigate and let you know.
Can I ask whether SMS for Australia has been setup ?
In the meantime, Pushover or IFTTT are good alternatives for notifications, as long as you have data.
Or my Twilio SMS driver:
Twilio has local numbers in most countries around the world.
Hi, living back in Spain now, and the same problem. Has it been setup?
Hi @bravenel. Any chance of adding New Zealand (+64) to the list of countries that notification SMS can be sent to?
Just my suggestion-
Check out Pushover, for a very reasonable, one off cost you get unlimited messages that work really reliably.
I was burning through the inbuilt SMS limit without even trying and SMS appeared intermittent in AUS.
How about notifications in Denmark? +45 is it setup?
same for +30 (Greece)
