Is there a way to run the hubitat operating system on a raspberry pi?
No
AHAHAHAHA That's a good one!
Just curious, why ? What's the problem you're trying to solve ? There's a great set of Hubitat nodes for Node-Red. I'm running a RPI4 & on Win10 laptop
Well check out HomeAssistant then.. it might be more budget friendly but probably not in the long run..
Or OpenHAB
Or zigbee2mqtt / zwave2mqtt ....
Lots of budget-conscious options, to prevent one from balking at the cost of one commercial product, or resorting to choices like software piracy.
These all require a certain level of expertise as well - maybe not for simple stuff but certainly when you want more complex rules or device integrations. There is always some sort trade off..
For me HE strikes a good balance between ease of use, reliability and cost. For the capabilities you get out of the box it really is a great value.
Don't project your ethical failure on the rest of us.
It is not possible to run Hubitat platform software on any other hardware. This topic is completely off the rails now.
