It's been needed for a long time

I assume that this requires a Ring Controller?

No... I assume by controller you mean the ring alarm? ..

This is a cloud integration as there is no local API..

Ring alarm stuff will come later..

There is a product called Ring Controller 2. I do not have it and it is probably associated with the alarm system.

I only have only a V2 Ring Doorbell. I tried the integration and could not get beyond the first page (Controller - disabled, Command "Enable Ring Controller" - no change to interface, no log entries). Probably me, not you.

It should work fine.. Can you give me a screenshot of the integration?

I upgraded to beta 2.5.0.106 but I don't see the ring integration.

Are you in apps? or Integrations? .. Menus changed a bit..

Ring is an integration and is found under integrations menu..

Ah! I went to Apps instead of Integrations. Thanks!

For Ring floodlight cams will this include ability to control the floodlights, send on/off commands separate from their built-in motion detection/lights on? I'd check/try myself but currently out and about.

It should.. I didn't have one to test with... So let me know.. Might need to make changes to get it to work..

I have a Ring Mailbox Sensor. It appears in the list of devices in the new integration. The default driver for it is a Ring light which does not work. I'm investigation Ring motion but that has an error as well. Any suggestions.

This is not supported yet... Didn't have one to test..

Added integration, logged in/2FA, and found my devices.

Added two cams, a Floodlight Cam and one of the smaller Ring Indoor cam.

Both have the same options/settings on their device pages. Floodlight doesn't show motion reporting or option to turn lights on/off. Refresh on Device page and "Installed device to refresh" option in integration didn't change anything/offer any new options on the Device pages.

Both the Floodlight and Indoor cam are identified as "stickup_cams"

Logs are HUGE from the initial discovery/setup...let me know if you need them, will likely need to send in PM. No errors in logs from the integration. All this on C8-Pro.

Will PM my hub ID to you in case you want to look...this is my newer C8-Pro, so not the same as previous hub ID PMs.

:eyes: .. What driver did it select?

Oops, meant to include that:

Is the Ring ID shown in the integration something I should keep private?

Ah.. It went with camera..

Try changing the driver to: "Ring Spotlight Cam"
