The device stats are from Logs > Device stats:

The current states are from the device page:
Its been a while but I recall the T6 had an option to report the (either temp & humidity) in finer resolution. This caused a lot of reports so I turned it off.
See: options 1421 and 1426 in the thermostat setting (not in the Hub)
Haven't read the thread....yet, lol, but....
I'm getting two T6's in the mail soon to play with.
Will I be disappointed?
No. I have 2. They suit my needs very well.
Is there any way to get the filter change alert from the thermostat? My thermostat is currently showing me the reminder to change my air filter (message 181). I couldn't see anything of importance when turning on debug logs and hitting refresh device.
Missed taking a screenshot of the debug log before I snoozed the message. Hopefully it will come back soon.
Is there anything I can provide to help see if the change filter message can be captured by Hubitat?
I don't know if the filter reminder is published by the thermostat. However if not you can accumulated ON time if you can write a simple app. Or maybe RM.
I'm sure others with better understanding can offer other methods.
I've looked for that before and as far as I can tell that message doesn't get published.
I went to compare this between the 2 stats and found that I have two different firmware versions.
Both are the same model TH6320ZW2003
The chatty one is FW 01--04--09--00 and says .5 degree temp & 2% humidity
The less chatty one is FW 01--04--05--00 and says advanced for reporting without having specific temp and humidity settings.
Think I'd try bumping the temperature to at least a full degree and the humidity to 5%
I would go to the coarsest settings next. If that doesn't do it then one would have to start looking elsewhere.
Be sure to take photos before removing the old Tstat. Even if you write the colors down.
I did temp to 1 and humidity to 3%. So far, no more Spammy alerts. THANKS @JohnRob for pointing me in that direction.
Well, it looks to me like a no-go.
My current thermostat can be adjusted down to +/- .5 deg F differential.
This works well with my hydronic system that has a buffer tank and two little ECM circulators, one for each floor, that click on and off to move water in a loop.
The boiler only starts up when the 120 gallon tank gets below a certain temperature.
Anyway, from what I've read, I don't thing the T6 is geared to operating in this way, with its cycles per hour modus operandi.
Are you thinking your current thermostat will turn an ECM circulator when the temp is "setting + 0.5 °F" and off when the temp is "setting - 0.5 °F"? Seems odd.
The CPH is the electronic equivalent to the old anticipator. It allows the thermostat to turn off the heat before the thermostat has risen above the setting. This reduces overshoot.
Consider; you upper floor thermostat calls for heat because the temperature is below the setting. The ECM circulator turn on. The hot water in you buffer tank starts to heat the baseboards, radiators or ?. As they heat up the room starts to get warmer. If the thermostat waits until the setting temperature is reached to turn off the circulator off, then the hot baseboard, radiation etc will continue to pump into your rooms and the temperature will overshoot.
I haven't checked lately, but I think it anticipates as well. It's an Ecobee.
3 cycle per hour seems low for me.
It's recommending 9 for electric forced air.
No equipment, per se, is being turned on and off, just the circulators.
I have been playing with the System Honeywell driver and this one. I did the following:
The log has this:
2024-06-19 04:47:28.218 AM[error] java.lang.NullPointerException: Cannot invoke method toInteger() on null object on line 593 (method parse)
When I try to add the thermostat to a Dashboard and use the thermostat template, it looks like this:
Did you hit configure?
Why are you including with security? Shouldn’t be necessary. Mine work fine without.
