Thanks, that's the first aknowledgement I've seen that it is recognized as an issue. Separately. would it be possible for a tilt sensor to be recognized as a garage door?
Thanks. Based on @bobbyD 's response, my issue might be related to the version my hub is running. I'll update that and report back.
Well that did not work. I updated the hub to the newest 2.3.9.164.
Using the new Android app is not updating the hub status- it still says hub is on 2.3.9.157.
- Closed the app and reopened it, same thing.
- Shut down and restarted the phone - it still says hub is on 2.3.9.157.
- Clicked "Connect to Hub" on the app and logged in again. It still says hub is on 2.3.9.157.
How do I force the Android app to update? After updating the hub, I used the app to turn things on and off, but exchanging a signal with the hub apparently does not do i.
Issue: in both my new easy dashboard, and when navigating to it from the devices section then to the room to which the lock is assigned, the lock shows up as black when locked, green when unlocked on my Android.
Via the web on a laptop, in the new easy dashboard, the lock shows up as green when locked, red when unlocked, which is the expected behavior.
Equipment:
Hub: C7, on 2.3.9.164
Phone: Pixel 4a using Mobile App 2.0.2 (245)
Per the help and directions here
the Android app updated so that it shows "Platform Version" as 2.3.9.164
However, the app icons are not updated. The lock is still black when locked, and green when unlocked in both the apps devices section and when I pull up a dashboard from the Android app. This is the same regardless of whether I am connected via local wifi, or connected remotely. What am I doing wrong?
