Newer ecobee thermostats have a built-in RADAR that detects motion and presence from the thermostat itself, not just motion from remote add-on sensors.
Would it be possible to add this info as a custom attribute(s)?
Would be very helpful for occupancy/security/controll uses.

Are you using the community driver ([RELEASE] Ecobee Suite, version 1.9.00)? It allows your thermostat to be used as a sensor in addition to regular controls.
I used the package manager to install that and it installed about 30 other things. Way over complicated for what I wanna do. I could use it to replace the building ecobee integration but it would be a lotta work.
