@kkossev, is it possible to include support to the following device?
Hi @marcusvrsilva ,
_TZE200_iossyxra fingerprint is already in the driver code. Do you have this motor?
did anyone work out which brand worked the best with he?
Hi Krassimir. Yes, I have it. I'm using your driver, but only the on/off function works to open/close, and inconsistently...
It should be this one : Zemismart Rechargeable Battery Roller Shade Motor AM15 Zigbee compatibility
Can you confirm that you have set up the upper and the lower limits of the motor?
Not reporting the current position is a symptom that the device limits are not set.
Exactly the same motor Krassimir, but the limits are regularly set!
Do you see a difference in the driver behavior when the limits are set, and when the limits are not set?
How did you set the upper and the lower limits? Using the motor remote, or using this driver 'Calibrate' command? Which of the Calibrate command options work for your device, if any?
Sorry for the late to response, I'm struggling with a problematic C8 migration.
I used the included control to set the limits before to pair the device with Hubitat, didn't use the driver to set it. All my Zigbee devices are offline now, I'll stay in touch as soon as I can solve it.
For now, thanks for the help!
same for me. C8 is faster, but Zigbee doesnt work consistently, I had better luck with with build 2.3.4.148
Hi guys, fairly new to HE having just switched from ST. Looking to order some blind motors so I can operate more blinds around the house and hoping someone could point me in the direction of the exact one to order. I would prefer a motor that attaches to the chain rather than into the tube itself. I'm based in the UK so options seem limited on the likes of amazon so happy to order from aliexpress it the likes. Anyone offer any help for this? Thanks
The AM43 one is well supported by the driver that @kkossev has developed. I’m in the UK also and got mine from AliExpress. It’s the model that comes without remote and with a small solar panel (I don’t use the panel and the battery lasts a few months)
Typing in zemismart am43 brings up so many on aliexpress, it's hard to know which ones to exactly go for, especially since none are branded zemismart. Just to confirm, this tuya am43 should do the job?
Yeah that looks like the one I have. Although they all look the same there are a number of variations and kkossev has added them to the driver so it should automatically select the correct specific model. It’s important to manually set up the limits using the buttons before adding it to Hubitat or it won’t work
Right, but they're all Tuya... You don't need the hub in that link.
Hi to you all. I have the driver running with a Tuya Am43 shade motor.
All functions work exept if i press a buton twice, the function should be stop if i'm right.
But if i push, for example, the up button the motor starts. But if i press up again i doesn't stop. it only stops at the programmed end. Preferences 'MODE' is set to 'LIFT"
Hello @kkossev
This driver has been working great so far with my Hiladuo blind. Thanks ! However, I'd say once out of every 25-30 commands the blind will fail to move. Might be something wrong with the device itself, but I thought I would check with you if there is anything usable in the logs. I have a rule that partially opens the blind at 7:00 am and then fully opens it an hour later. This past Sunday, the partial open (to position 40) failed :
Device details:
Limits are set (including a stop near position 40 so that the blind will stop there when using the remote - wonder if it has anything to do with my issue?). Preferences:
Once in a while, I do get these warnings (just in case it provides any clues):
Cheers,
pj
EDIT : this is what logs look like when the command is successful (yes, we get up earlier on weekdays )
Hi @hubitrep ,
The warning messages are harmless (these are Tuya periodic check-in messages), I will downgrade such warning to debug messages in the next update.
Can you try increasing the 'Position report timeout' value from 2500 to 3500 milliseconds ?
UK here too. I've recently purchased 2 from AE (different models) - both 100%.
Done. Will report back in a few weeks. Thanks !
thanks
thinking of getting one
what are there main differences between the two please??
