I'm only replying because I see no response to your issue. My response is probably not what you're looking for, but maybe it can be helpful.
I am a Wyze user and used to love Wyze, but have been increasingly moving away from their products. The main thing I still like them for is their door locks, but I use the Bluetooth only ones (nothing for Hubitat to control). I've moved away from their cameras (to Unifi Protect, because I was tired of stuff behind a paywall subscription), and I always knew I wanted my bulbs and switches to be Zigbee/Z-Wave to talk directly to my smart home hub (Hubitat), and to keep them off my Wi-Fi.
The point of all that was that I have no need for the Hubitat/Wyze integration, and therefore don't use it, and therefore haven't seen your issue. But my recommendation would be to move away from the Wyze bulbs to Zigbee/Z-Wave bulbs. There really aren't a lot of options for Z-Wave bulbs (Inovelli used to have their "ilumin" line, which I really liked, but they dropped that line during COVID). For Zigbee bulbs, I've been really happy with the innr bulbs (Amazon link). Good color, good brightness, good price, and all local processing when connected to Hubitat. I don't have to worry about Wyze servers going down or my internet going down, and taking down my smart home with it.
Final thought: I'd still rather use Wyze than Kasa, even though Kasa has a better Hubitat integration (including local processing), just because I trust the company Wyze more than Kasa.
