Just curious ... I'm seeing these errors in the log on a regular basis. Are they normal? As best I can tell, the commands I use with my cameras are working.
Yeah, those are normal. I've been meaning to clean this up, just havent had the time. The authToken is only valid for 2 days, when the request error out, it prompts the refresh call. Seems like you are only getting 24 hours though .
At one time all of my Wyze sensors (v1 & v2) were present and I was able to read all of the battery levels in these devices. Do you have any idea what happened. BTW, I too use Home Assistant with Hubitat as a backbone for devices that don't integrate with Home Assistant. I miss this integration mainly because the battery levels were accessible. BTW, an FYI concerning the batteries in the V1 devices. I have switched over to rechargeable 3.7 volt button batteries with success. Yes, the voltage is higher, but has not prevented the devices from working.
All fieldsjm was able to get the wyze lock added as a device and be seen if it is locked or unlocked. He got busy and wasnt able to go any further and get it to lock/unlock from the buttons. Anyone want to take a peak and see if they can finish it off?
I have 2 Pan and Tilt cameras v3.
I added the app and added both cameras to my device list, but what control do I have from hubitat to WYZE?
I really want to be able to control the ON/OFF or at least send notifications and tracking or be able to control an automation from habitat to WYZE.
I looked, but could not find how to do this. Suspect it might not be possible.
With this integration is it possible to enable/disable notifications for Wyze Cameras based on other house conditions? i.e. Enable Wyze Cam Notifications when I'm gone. Turn them off when I'm home.
I need to buy locks for my house and have a bunch of wyze products. If you can get the lock to work with lock code manager that would be awesome. Also, is there any way to get video from wyze cams without flashing them?
I would not recommend you get a Wyze lock or deadbolt as I have tested and still use the OG Wyze lock on my front door. It has horrible battery usage and can only be used via the Wyze app. I do recommend Wyze cameras...But not their Locks.
My recommendation is to use a deadbolt which is connected locally to the Hubitat hub. It should use Zwave or Zigbee protocols. I recommend this one. It is the same model I have been using on my garage door for 9 years and the batteries last a long time.
thank you for the link, but as I am not a programmer I can not get though the creating a POST HTML page using the API to HASH the password to send to the POST to try an get a token..
You don't need to do that. You just need the two values.
Go the link and click on "Navigate to this portal". Login with your Wyze account. Click "Create an API Key". Copy the "Key Id" and "Api Key" values. YOU ARE DONE at Wyze.
Now open the WyzeHub app on Hubitat. Click "Configure Login Info". Supply your Wyze account and password, and the Key Id and Api Key value. Click Next at the bottom of the page. You do not need to supply the token values.
