Yes, that is locked, and will need to be unlocked before it will be fully functional on a non-Vivint hub.

Not sure what you mean - Do you mean device specific command class support, or hub side command class support?

Sorry to be reviving this old thread, but I recently discovered a flaw in this thermostat that I want to make others aware of:

Vivint CT-200

I have an unsavory experience with the Vivint CT200 that I want to mention .... I have configured it for a 2-stage heat-pump with the reversing valve to be energized on cooling. When I put it in cool mode, the following terminals are energized: Y (or Y + Y2 - depending on the differential) O/B G W Yup, AUX heat is turned on at the same time as cool! I appreciate you reporting that. I still have a pile of the CT200s, but I don't have any in service anymore - I couldn't get them to stop randomly resetting the setpoint. Maybe I lucked out...
