[RELEASE] Tuya Zigbee Vibration Sensor

C-8 Pro, 2.4.2.152 firmware.

That's when I initially saw the anomaly, BUT multiple instances still occasionally re-occur; in the image below, the bottom set of triplets was right after the driver change, but the pair around 11:46 occurred nearly 20 minutes later:

Battery voltage reporting in the logs is a little chatty (the sensor is currently inactive):

This could be a 'side effect' of the latest BETA platform changes ... :frowning:

The battery voltage is reported very frequently, likely due to a misconfiguration in the reporting period when switching between drivers. Most probably, the same frequent reporting happens when using the stock driver; it is simply not shown in the info logs and not fired as an event, that is why you do not see it there.

Pair the sensor once again to the hub (without removing the device); hopefully, this will fix the abnormally frequent reporting.

Bookmarking this for me - just another case whee a Tuya devie is repeatedly sending one and the same report to the hub (probably an acknowledgement from the HE hub is missing?) :thinking:

Hi all. I've read through this thread looking for a vibration sensor for monitoring the cloths dryer. I see this mentioned a few times but I don't see that anyone has been successful. Is there a recommendation for a sensor that is sensitive to dryer vibrations, is able to report continuous vibration.

Thanks.

You could try this one. I have some and some are very sensitive (probably sufficient to sense a dry) others are not as sensitive.

A much more reliable method is to sense power consumption. This is what I do. You could use one of these. They are power meters only, there is no relay so no chance of power interruption. I used a different product since these were not available when I setup mine. I just installed a larger outlet box where the washer and dryer are and wired mine just before the outlet. This assumes you have a 110v dryer (gas in my instance).

If your dryer is electric 240V then you'll need a something like this.

Hi @kkossev,

Is it possible to add _TZ32101000000_5oy7cysk ?

It is model TS0210

Thank you.

It's on my to-do list for the upcoming updates. Is this device the one in question?

Yes, this is the device.
Thanks

Please try ver 1.4.2 2026-02-01 :

  • added TS0210 _TZ32101000000_5oy7cysk (alternative variant);
  • added _TZE200_hggxgsjj _TZE200_yjryxpot _TZE200_afycb3cg (ZG-103Z variants);
  • added Tuya sensitivity setting for some models;

Can you try to obtain your device fingerprint, exactly as decoded in Hubitat? Switch temporarily to the HE inbuilt 'Device' driver and click on the 'Get Info' button, while the sleepy sensor is activated. Please copy/paste as a text the fingerprint info from the live logs.

The new driver isn't working.

This is the info:

fingerprint profileId:"0104", endpointId:"01", inClusters:"0000,E000,0003,0001,0500,E002,EF00", outClusters:"000A,0019", model:"TS0210", manufacturer:"_TZ32101000000_5oy7cysk", controllerType: "ZGB"

OK, second try: same driver verson "1.4.2" , new timeStamp "2026/02/04 7:32 AM"
The _TZ32101000000_5oy7cysk messages decoding is changed, let me know if it works now.

Make sure you have paired this Tuya device again to you hub (without deleting it) after the code is updated.

I was getting ready to punt my two _TZ3000_lzdjjfss until I noticed v1.4.2 update (i've been using *.1). Will shockSensor help with this sensor's quirkiness? Also, I swear it's less responsive on 0 (max) than it is on 6 (min) i've been trying to "control-tap" this desk for 10 minutes in both extremes.

Question:
Will this driver work for this type of Tuya vibration sensor?
