[RELEASE] Tuya ZigBee Chlorine Meter 7 in 1

According to the manual, for calibration, a solution with a special specified value must be obtained.
This device lacks quality to measure the exact value, but it has enough quality to check the flow.

It will be interesting if someone has also the WaterGuru Sense S2 Smart Pool Monitor , which is priced seven times (!) more expensive and can compare the results ...

The driver is now available for installation via HPM, simply search for 'chlorine' :

  • ver. 3.3.2 2024-09-06 - (release candidate) debug is off by default; freeChlorine is divided by 10;

If this device is reliable, it will be useful in places like swimming pools, especially children's swimming pools..
I ordered a portable measuring device.

kkossev, thank you for your hard work making drivers when your body is tired. Thank you.

Hi guys, @kkossev ,

Any updates on this project? Has anyone tested this device on a swimming pool?

I have a question for anyone having this device; does it use some sort of replacement cartridge or part for it to work properly over time? Or it is only electronics and sensors?

Hey guys,
I've had this sensor up and running for about two days. It measures, it swims, it communicates. Thanks a lot for a working driver!

However, I would need to calibrate it because the pH reads about 2 degrees differently than my tried and true handheld meter. I have the calibration solutions.

The manufacturer's instructions state how to calibrate when using the Tuya app, which, apparently, I don't have.

@kkossev , is there any way to do the calibration using your driver? I've looked for it in the settings but can't find it.

Thanks a lot
Tomas

hi, tomas3

I'm not sure, but I think it can be helpful to clean it with a cleaning solution, and clean it with hot water.

I used this device stably for a long time, the yo-eum ph value showed a problem, and I test it the same way as above, and the numbers came back to suit in the test.

I hope this will help you solve the problem.
