I removed the devices from Tapo and re-added, this time putting them on my main network (I try to keep IoT devices on my guest network). Issue resolved.
Thanks again. Seriously, I can only imagine how many people benefit from your work on this!

Hello,
I also was not able to discover the H200. I have 3 plugs and wall switch and they discovered just fine.
I created a work around using Google home. Google home pulls my Tapo Motion sensor and temperature sensor in fine. I does not pull in the Tapo Button.
I created virtual switches in Hubitat and exposed them to Google as well.
Then create an automation in Google home to "connect" Tapo to Hubitat. You may have to create 2 automations per device (one to turn it on and one to turn it off).
I also used Google Home to update the Status of the Tapo Switches and dimmers in Hubitat as they don't get updated when controlled locally at the device otherwise. It appears that This integration only verifies status when Hubitat changes the output of the Tapo device or when the settings get saved.
I know all this is a little sloppy and is not local control but that's what I had to do to make things work. I would only use Tapo devices with Hubitat for "non critical functions" at this point.
I then noticed that the H200 hub is MATTER compatible (Beta). So I connected the H200 Hub to Hubitat using Matter. I connected but did not expose any of the connected sensors. Not sure at this time if I just missed something or it's just not ready to be used.
I may buy a H100 hub to see if it works better.
Update: The Tapo outlet was also MATTER compatible. I first removed the Tapo outlet from this integration and then added it back to Hubitat using MATTER. Now it updates status in real time, even if the status is changed locally at the device.
I have a mix of stuff on the Kasa and TP-Link Tapo integrations and generally works well! I noticed recently only for the newer dimmers on the Tapo intregation, physical use of the switch (on/off) and dimmer level is not updating in hubitat i.e. if I physically press the switch on, it remains off in Hubitat which is causing some automation issues. Don't have this issue on the older Kasa ones. Any help would be appreciated! The logs seem to show some type of message that repeats the same when I physically change the switch but not sure why status is not updating. Model shows as HS220(US). Thanks in advance!

Will be fixed in next release (early next year).
Thatβs great! Thank you for the update and putting this together.
Holy cow, lots of confusing stuff.
I have (3) Kasa HS200 Hardware version 1 that work with the HE Kasa integration. My problem is a New Kasa HS200 Hardware version 5.26 will not work (not found)..
Is there a simple way to get this working?
Jim
If installed per the instructions, it should be found. Caution on making sure that it is not on a guest network (those networks are sometime restricted from interacting with the other devices on your LAN. If problems persist, do a Tapo discovery with log-debug on and PM The results to me.
It's a Kasa switch I used the Kasa app to connect it and it works with the app (and Alexa) very nicely along with my older Kasa switches.
Why would I use the Tapo app? I have it but don't have anything connected to it. I thought HE supports Kasa, I don't see anything in HE about Tapo..
Do I need to blow all the Kasa devices away and reconnect them to Tapo, will HE work with all of them with Tapo? Kinda confused but I appreciate the help.
Jim
Kasa (TP-link) has remodeled most new models as well as later hardware versions of older models (including the HS-200). Below is a list.
Older models use the built-in Kasa integration and new use the Tapo integration.
SMART_TAPO_REMODEL_KASA_HUB_KH100 (works with Kasa TRV)
SMART_TAPO_REMODEL_KASA_PLUG_EP25
SMART_TAPO_REMODEL_KASA_PLUG_KP125M (Matter)
SMART_TAPO_REMODEL_KASA_POWER_STRIP_EP40M
SMART_TAPO_REMODEL_KASA_SWITCH_HS200
SMART_TAPO_REMODEL_KASA_SWITCH_HS220 (Dimmer)
SMART_TAPO_REMODEL_KASA_SWITCH_KS205 (Matter)
SMART_TAPO_REMODEL_KASA_SWITCH_KS225 (Dimmer, Matter)
SMART_TAPO_REMODEL_KASA_SWITCH_KS240 (Dual Fan Control/Dimmer)
Thanks for the info,
I'm assuming the new stuff will work with HE if I use to Tapo app to connect it?
Yes. the models listed above will work with the TAPO integration and all others will work with the Kasa integration. Please be patient. Kasa is transitioning devices.
