When entering in the IR codes...all you need is this portion: (basically the first set of numbers including the sendir and NO quotes)

So your send example would be:

I had actually seen that instruction in the thread but read it (incorrectly) as an option. Unfortunately, now that I've shortened it and reentered it in all lines, I'm still getting the error.

You got me stumped.

So you see this?

Then click on 'Add a new 'Send IP2IR' child' button

and you should see this...

If you don't, then I need more logs.
If you do, then I need to know what you are doing next.

I do get the first page and when I click the 'Add a new 'Send IP2IR' child button' I get the error that I have described. Unless you recommend against it I think I'll just delete the app entirely and start over. What do you think?

Ok, no problem...

Open HE in a new tab and look in the lower left hand corner, it says "Logs". With that open go back to the first tab and hit the button to cause the error. Then go back to the logs and take a screenshot.

Ok... do me a favor, go back to the 'App Code' and tell me how many lines are in your copy of the Send IP2IR Child app. Just scroll to the bottom.

lol, that is the problem ... while in the child app code, click on the Import button up top to download a new version of of the app and save. Notice how many lines there are now... (hint, you're missing about 200 lines!)

Hey @bptworld - would these work ?
IE I have a wired house and if an ethernet port exited to one of these with an IR blaster attached would you get the same result ?
Thinking i'd like to ditch the battery sensibos for a wired type setup.

There is no picture or link to what 'these' are!?

But, if they are Global Cache devices they 'should' work. Like I always say, Try!
