Cameras (new)
- New Cameras tab for go2rtc Camera devices (requires Enable tabs)
- Live WebRTC streams from your LAN go2rtc server — tiles start when they scroll into view and stop when off-screen or when you leave the tab
- Grid uses the low/sub stream; tap a tile for full-screen high/main stream (when go2rtc reports grouped stream roles)
- Audio via go2rtc’s built-in player controls
- Manual camera reorder (overflow Reorder) — order syncs across devices
- Cameras tab only appears on the local hub URL (not cloud HTTPS), so HTTP go2rtc embeds don’t trigger mixed-content / “Not secure” warnings
Requires: go2rtc Hubitat Integration by @jpage4500 — big thanks for that app; mDash’s Cameras tab builds on the camera devices it creates.
Local / cloud
- Android cloud no longer shows You’re home just because a local URL is saved
- Uses an authenticated LAN probe with Chrome Local Network Access; the banner only appears when the hub actually responds
- Removed silent auto-redirect based on recent local use
Sensors
- Security / life-safety tiles show Last activity more reliably (including when drivers omit timestamp attributes)
- Cleaner secondary readings on typed sensor cards (battery, temp, humidity, light, pressure, CO₂/CO, etc.)
Thermostats
- Fan mode controls are hidden when the device doesn’t report supported fan modes (same idea as Hubitat’s built-in dashboards)
