With latest HE FW, season is not switching; needs to be manually set. First observed, winter didn't switch to spring, same w spring to summer.

mornin' - do you have the autio update at 6am on? thats the daily check to change. What about the autumn/fall switch? which are you set as? Mine made the jump so not sure where to look...

Just for information I'm on the latest build and i can see a scheduled job for 6am and it is showing todays date on the device.
Seems to be working ok for me.
Same here, but won't know till start of fall...

well. I can't make it fail. I tried setting dates before and in the future - which is a painful thing since it breaks some Oauths... grumble. Not sure where to look. Does the app manually update correctly or give the wrong season regardless of date? Are you in northern or southern hemisphere and inverted on seasons? what about your timezone? is that all set correct and stuff with HE?
Northern hemisphere. HE time/TZ correct. If I change season via device, then current season, it sets correct season. Will just need to keep an eye on t.

@jshimota mine failed to make the transition from Summer to Fall this morning. It did update when I manually refreshed the device this afternoon.

I only started using this driver over the summer, so this is the first season switch.
I've had 1 or 2 reports of this - I can't find it and I looked pretty hard.
I began a complete rewrite, which will include the ability to chose Meteor vs Astro methods. My original tried that but it was complex and I stopped for expediency.
If you're over the hump - i've got a few months to get out the new tool (which is actually nearly done)
I got jammed up because of the versions of groovy and the inability to use external libraries so had to go do the calc work on Astro season myself - give me a bit of time and watch this space!

Looking forward to the update! I just use the driver to adjust the various colored lighting scenes I have, so it’s nothing essential and the manual refresh was done before the evening. I can just build a temporary rule to manually refresh on the first day of each season until the update gets pushed.

thats embarassing - and please I mean no offense, but my app is basically useless to you if you have to do the triggering...
The new one, I could actually share it now but its still getting confused as the year changes and I've got bugs to work out... so hold tight. It does the northern and southern hemispheres like before, lets you chose if you like to call Fall, fall or autumn, and lets you override a specific season for testing purposes - you will be able to enter a date and it will return the season to you, astro or metro as well and will fully integrate nice and neat with tiles specifically tuned to work for HD+. As I said, it was actually completed a few weeks ago until I realized I had some big issues to handle .
Doing dynamic season ala Astronomical is actually very hard math wise. Now I know why the j7 libraries exist! that guy is a frickin genius! Its too bad I'm stuck with Groovy 3.4. oh well.
Just posting as I want to track the progress. Mine didn't switch from Fall to Winter but looking forward to any updates.
I watched mine carefully this seasons change and it performed smoothly for me. sorry yours didn't!
