Used to have this issue. Solved it by going into the life360 apps in HE after every HE reboot or update.
@bptworld I am a little confused about the Life360-User drivers. Posts have said that v1.2.1 was released, but the github is only showing a new 1.0.0 Location Tracker User Driver. Does this new v1.0.0 driver replace the previous and if so, do I have to delete my previous tracker objects and recreate them to get them to use the newer Location Tracker driver?
Sorry about that, this app is in a little bit of flux right now. I've been working on a new app that will work with or without Life360 for a while now so the Location Tracker driver is the new driver that works with both apps. I made a big post about the new app a while ago and it didn't even get one like or comment, so I stopped working on it to be honest.
To use the new driver, simply overwrite the old one. It will rename itself and everything will move along as always, no need to redo anything.
Hi @bptworld
I just updated the Life360-User drivers to your latest Location Tracker driver. What I wanted to ask was the Life360Tile1 for some reason is not updating on the dashboard, but if I select the individual attributes it shows the correct data? So for example see below the Life360Tile1 shows battery at 43% but the battery attribute in a seperate tile is 98%.
If I put it back to the LIfe360 User driver then thre Life360Tile1 updates fine.
So the Location Tracker driver replaces the Life360 User driver?
yes
Hi @bptworld
Just wanted to ask, would it be possible to add to the StatusTile1 a line which shows the lastupdated time info, I do see it in the current states list.
Probably, I'll take a look
New version on GitHub...
User Driver:
V1.0.1 - 04/12/20 - Added last updated date/time to StatusTile1, other small adjustments
@bptworld
Thank you very much,
@bptworld
Sorry to be a pain, how could I move the last updated info on the tile slightly to the left as on mine it covers the 3 dots of the tile. Cosmetic I know
I'm confused. The 3 dots are on the top right corner and the last update in on the bottom right corner... screenshot please.
Sorry it might be caused by the Smartly "app", this changes some of the CSS coding to be able to edit tiles etc. ([RELEASE] smartly - the hubitat dashboard skin engine)
Not a huge problem if this is what caused it, I dont want you to change if other people might use it.
Looks like the last update screwed up something. I'll take a look at it tomorrow, most likely in the afternoon (eastern time zone).
Thanks
I saw the same thing. I deleted the Life360 devices and then allowed the app to re-create them and that resolved the issue (no more errors and everything seems to be working). I did notice that the old devices were children of the Life360 Member container device and the new devices created were no longer in a container.
Same here
New version on Github... Very important: Please delete your current user devices before installing this update. After installing new app, go into app and click done. New devices will be made for you.
Thanks
App:
2.0.4 - 04/15/20 - Code adjustments, container driver no longer used. New devices need to be created.
It is also safe to delete the code for the container driver after updating.
I'm not usually one to jump on new code but I did. Figured if I left it I'd forget that I need to do all the work with my devices. So deleted and re-created and then re-adjusted all my rules based on the devices. Thanks Brian!
Does the App create the devices, or do I?
