That would be a lot of work but it's on the list.
Notice is says 'connection error'. Either your internet is down or your username/password is incorrect.
Either way, it's always better to turn the debug logging on and give me some more info on what was happening when the error occurred. MUCH more helpful that just the error.
Thanks.
Yup! Still seeing that the app isn't receiving any data. Can you open the app and hit 'done'. Let's see the log for that.
Also, could you show a screenshot of the how the app is setup?
ie.
Log after clicking done:
And the settings in the app
As I have shown in the beginning after logging into Life360 it does not show any options...
I had this, it's because your password or username is wrong. Remember it's your number for starts. It's just the app doesn't tell you and looks like it's accepted it, but hasn't.
Didn't I say that... lol
yes i was agreeing with you and giving another proof of it.
Hi, I have send you the logs last week. Do you have any idea what I am doing wrong?
do you have symbols in your Life360 password? I couldn’t get the app to load my profile in Hubitat until I changed my password to alpha/numeric only for some reason.
Sorry, but there is nothing to look into on my end. As stated before there seems to be a problem with your login.
I'd suggest you go to life360.com and check out your username and password, including resetting your password as @poelock suggested.
Thanks
Yes! That did the trick. Thank you so much...
No worries. Drove me nuts for hours
Thanks for your help anyways!
Another small question: My kids either have their telephone with them or turned off. Is there an attribute that helps you detect that a phone is switched off? I have been testing it, but I am not able to find it until now.
Nope, I can only work with what Life360 (phone app) gives us. There is no data that says whether the phone is on or off.
I would like this too as my daughter has to turn off her phone everyday at school. Be nice to know if she really does or not.
@bptworld Bryan, can you do anything with the message I get on my phone about the wife if she has the wifi turned off. It says "Name is out of range or wifi is turned off" or something close to that. It shows up on the phone screen when you try to poll her phone in the app. So if the phone was off wouldn't you get that message if you polled the other phone since the wifi would definitely be off? Just a thought.
Sorry, The only data the phone sends to the app is whether wifi is on or off. This is actually sent as a 0 or 1.
I am new to Hubitat so still stumbling around. I installed this 360 app and the tracker app and configured both successfully. However I don’t see appropriate tiles in the dashboard. Feels like I am missing something obvious.
Go to the virtual device and make sure the data is there. If there is no data, then there won't be a tile attribute in the dashboard.
