What time of device is this?

Can you send the JSON for this device (capabilities, attributes, commands)?

Since it's a built-in I don't think I can. Maybe I just don't know where to look. Here is the device page

You can see the attribute I'm talking about in the upper right.

I just started the timer for 2 hours and here is the HE tile that displays the time left and that I'm trying to duplicate in your app

The variable attribute, apparently, does not appear until you run the "Set Variable" command once to provide it with a value. After that, however, you should see it. Adding it to Dashboard with the "Attribute" template should then work and allow you to choose the "variable" attribute. WebCoRE shouldn't need "access to the field" since it doesn't know the command ("Set Variable") and attribute (variable) are associated; all it needs to know to set the value is that the command exists, which seems…
