The original topic has been closed almost a year, but I've updated the driver to version 2.0 this week and it handles communications with the device a lot better.
The driver is still in HPM, and should be detected as an update, so there's nothing specific to be done.
EtherRain is a Sprinkler Controller that is almost perfectly Smart Home ready. It has almost no bells or whistles, no display, no buttons. It's intended to be operated via some other piece of software, locally or over the Internet. Primarily it works via an Irrigation command that contains a delay to when it starts and then values for each of the 8 relays. For years, I used Lawn Check (http://www.lawncheck.com/) to operate my EtherRain Controller. I switched to using my Sprinkler Schedule Manager App in 2023 and recently realized my EtherRain Driver needed some improvement. Those improvements are now called version 2 ![]()
