but it feels like there is a slight delay in activating my bedroom light with the beta version.
I have re-installed the stable version and it definitely feels like the delay has gone, weird!

There shouldn't be any difference in the speed of detecting 'motion' between versions 1.2.4 and 1.4.0 .. But I will pay attention at this when I come back to this driver, thank you for the report!

Hey @iEnam, I now noticed that I have forgotten to update the dev. branch to the latest code. It is now ver 1.4.1 +some other minor fixes. Can you try again if you notice any issues? Thank you for your help!

Thanks for the update.
I am still convinced that there is a difference in speed of detecting motion between the stable version and the development version.
It took 3 steps into my bedroom for the lights to activate using stable driver.
However, it takes 5-6 steps for the lights to activate using the development driver.
Please let me know if there are any specific logs or tests you would like me to do, thanks.

Further to the above post, I can confirm that if I select Monitoring mode "undirected", then the motion is detected fast as normal. There seems to be a slight delay when left-right is selected on the development driver.

Put Hubitat back into pairing mode.
Press and release the button on the FP1...the blue led near the button should blink once.
Wait for Hubitat to say it found a known device.
Check the attributes.

1. Move the sensor near the hub. Within a few feet.
2. Delete the device from Hubitat.
3. Reset the sensor by holding the button until the light flashes.
4. Put the hub in pairing mode and complete pairing.
5. Open the device page and see if you still have just the ?
6. If so, put the hub back into pairing mode then press the sensor button once; make sure the LED flashes.
7. After the hub finds the known device again, check the device page again.
8. After the device attributes update, move the sensor back to its final location.

I ended up messing up my ZigBee network with all the pairing. The Aqara sensor ended up not connecting after dozens of attempts.

I can confirm that the pairing of the Aqara FP1 presence sensor on C-8 hub is now broken.

Pairing to C-7 is also partially broken. It pairs normally the first time, but when paired again to a C-7 hub, the screen stays on "Pairing...." until it times out :

Nothing can be done to solve the pairing issue on a user-driver level. All I can do is put a warning on the first post that Aqara P1 does not pair to C-8 anymore, but I will retain from doing this right now because I must put a warning on a half dozen of other Aqara or Tuya drivers threads.

Aqara and Tuya Zigbee devices have never been officially supported in HE and now it seems the pairing problem with these devices is the least priority for fixing by Hubitat. My hope is that when the HE platform Zigbee pairing issues are fixed for all of the officially supported devices, the fixes will work for Aqara and Tuya as well.

But I can pair a new FP1 to my C8 (latest firmware 2.3.5.138) no problem only on channel 20
(except I don't want it on that hub).

My C7 only gets the "Found a Zigbee device, initializing..." on channel 20 and some of the other channels. (tried rolling back firmare to 2.3.4.153 same results)
channel 21 will not see it at all when tring to pair a new FP1 on any channel.
Channel 21 is what my C7 is using and I have 3 other previously paired FP1'S and working fine on it.

note: (all these hubs have working FP1's on them)

edit: just tested on two C5 hubs with latest firmware on channel 20 and it paired fine as did the C8
(this hub and the C8 hub both use channel 20 my other C5 and C7 hubs are on channels 19, and 21 don'twork on those channels) haven't tested my C3 hub on channel 18 but I only use it for cloud devices and announcements.

To be clear only my C7 hub that I can not pair new FP1's to so far on any channel and my C5 and C8 must be on channel 20.
Changing to channel 20 even though it temporarily messes up my other working previously paired FP1's on those hubs.
All hubs are in different locations in the house.
Tried moving my troublesome C7 and still same results.

Reset and paired the new fp1 to my C5 using channel 20 then changed the C5 channel back to 19 so my previous fp1 and other zigbee devices continued working.
Now waiting 24 hours to see if the new fp1 rejoins the mesh.
I doubt it but will test and see.

The problem that I observe is on the C-8 hub: once deleted (from 'REMOVE DEVICE' button), I can't pair the FP1 on my C-8 hub anymore.

C-8 Zigbee channel is 20.

I was able to pair to my C8 hub but it just happened to be using channel 20.

Still no idea why it only appears to work on channels 15,20, and 25

Hopefully the hubs not using those channels with working FP1'S dont drop off any of the working FP1s
