Recommendations for a Zigbee Bathroom Fan Control (Mini Smart Plug)

I have that same relay. Please give feedback on how it works. I don't have mine installed currently. Curious how well they function.

You should be able to specify Power on State using @kkossev Tuya Zigbee Switch - Device Driver (manually installed) custom driver.

You can read more about the driver in this thread about the Sonoff mini relay family.

I'll let you know if you ping me again in the future. I have other Sonoff devices without issues (and some that maybe had issues or maybe they just had bad batteries from the factory).

I'll have to test this out. I assume it's in HPM, but I have to do some research.

It might be in HPM.

But for a single component driver it's sometimes just as quick to do a manual Import/Save.

  1. Right click on this Raw Link, select Copy Link Address.
  2. In the Hubitat GUI click on Add Driver
Add Driver

  1. Click on Import
Import

3a. Paste the copied address link in the input field, click Import button.

  1. Click on Save
Save

Refresh the ZigBee Relay Device Info page, select your new Tuya Zigbee Switch Type (aka driver).

Easy-peasy.

If this is really what you want to do, put a short flat plug extension cord in there (like this one Nekteck 360° Rotating Flat Plug Extension Cord 1 Foot, 14AWG 3 Prong Extension Cord, Low Profile Right Angle Power Cord, Flat Extension Cord Grounded Wire, 15A- UL Certified, Black - Amazon.com). It rotates so you can angle it where you will. Cut off the ground pin as you're not using it. Then control the power outlet with this bad boy: Smart Plug, ZigBee Switch Mini Smart Outlet Works with Alexa, Google Home, Echo (4th gen), Echo Plus (Gen 1 & 2), Echo Show 8/10, Smartthings 2015/2018,Works as a Range Extender, Hub Required, 2 Pack - Amazon.com.

Edit: I just confirmed that the ZigBee outlet will work without the ground pin connection.

I had a slight problem with this. The preference worked with the R2, but not the L2. :man_shrugging:t4: If anyone knows what's going on, I'd appreciate letting me know.

Appreciate the ideas / advice, but as mentioned above, I did complete the project and it does work.

Seems to have worked as it remembers the last state so far.

Wish I could help, but I only have the 1 output model.
