Reboot with Delete old logs not working on my c8 or c7

in 2,3,7,145 latest just did a reboot with delete old logs... not working.. old logs are still there..

I had rebooted earlier and selected delete old logs along with rebuild the database. Delete old logs did not work.

Tried again on seeing this message, DID NOT select rebuild the database. The old logs were cleared.

not my issue as i did NOT select rebuild database and it did not work..
