I'm curious if anyone in this community is running Container Station (not linux station) on a QNAP NAS and has configured Ubuntu (latest release) to have a script startup on the container start? So far I've not had any luck. I've tried /etc/rc.local file and creating a systemd service. Both result in EXIT commands coming across the screen after the script is run. The service doesn't stay running. I can open a bash terminal and start the script manually and it stays running, just not on auto start. Was curious if anyone else might have done this and know a command to make this work?
Did you check out this post, it talks about Node-Red, but the process should be the same. Does the auto stat setting not work? Or is that just a Docker thing (I don't run Ubuntu on QNAP, just a thought)
That brought back memories..I was doing some other containers and having this exact same issue. Try doing some google searching. I found some "hints" but if I remember right..it was difficult.
