Hey all,

My Android is running the mobile app v2.1.0.312 and is hit or miss. Some days my phone leaves the geofence and other days my wife's will.

What is working reliably these days? Like many, I used to use Life360 but not any more

Is there a fix for the mobile app or something else to try

Owntracks it is. :slight_smile: Enhanced/Developed by a former Life360 user to enable a similar set of features. Super respnosive dev, great integration w/varying levels of presence features you can choose to enable.

I use a combination of WIFI and my hubitat location either ive made or pieced together from other peoples work.

There is the wifi driver which pings your local network looking for the IP address of your phone (you need to reserve/ fix the ip on your router.

The App which you add your existing hubitat gps presence sensor and the wif presence sensor and it combines them and send them on to a virtual presence sensor.

The combined presence sensor driver i use instead of a hubitat virtual to so that it has my picture on the dashboards.

Just had a look at my logs and the geofence via hubitat app seems to fire before my wifi.
On android i have the app locked.
If you click on the 3 vertical lines to see all your open apps, then click on the hubitat icon you get options to lock it/keep open.
Im also on the android beta
