Does anyone know of a premium or custom room control keypad that can work with Hubitat? I am thinking similar to the Lutron Palladiom Keypads. High-end finish, multiple buttons for scenes, engraving.

google "Lutron Palladiom Keypads" for the product detail page
You can get custom engraved Pico, the Caseta system is "cheaper" (relatively speaking). Still a big buy-in for a few buttons, but if you have a household full of buttons, it becomes more palatable.
Zooz offers the Zen32 here which has a custom engraving option. Not exactly the same layout as the Lutron though. They have similar battery powered models as well.
Using a label maker you can get a budget solution on a Zooz ZEN32. Maybe not "Hi End" but a few pennies for labels vs $$$ to swap out switches with custom engraving.
Can the colors of those LED's be changed? That's pretty nice.
The Palladiom seems to be etched so that light shines though, ie, back lit. True? That's pretty slick. You'd have to get new buttons engraved (from the factory?) if you want to change things up.
I wonder if you engraved them deep enough, put a light-conducting layer on the back, you could have names that glowed in color! Might have to blank off the existing little hole, and that wouldn't be a good look.
First time I've seen a real life pic of the ZEN32. I've loving those lights. Maybe not enough to change my house from toggles to decora though......
Zooz also sells replacement ZEN 32 replacement color panels that you could by before hand for a minimal cost...
Once you have them, if you are a tinkerer like most here, look for a local "maker place" with laser engraver (often the local library) or just find a local laser engraving place to get the replacement face plates engraved. If that works out, buy the switches and replace with the custom ones you got made.
I have the Zooz scene. Its great for the price. But it's nowhere near the quality of my Control4 keypads. You certainly get what you pay for... and you can pay a lot for switches. If I didn't have the contrast I'd be fine with the Zooz.
Inovelli is coming out with one that should be button configurable, but those guys are slow as molasses in the winter. I think they are the OEM for a Zooz switch/mmwave that is coming.
I live in a housing development with a lot of Control4 systems. I would say 80% of the home owners hate them. Not for the product but for the captive dealer model where its $500 each time you have them come out to look at something or tweak the system. There is also the hard sell annual maintenance agreements dealers peddle.
My house came with Control4 for the video distribution but I ripped it all out.
I've installed a fair amount of ZOOZ product (Zen77, Zen71, ZEN32, ZEN52, ZEN37, ZEN76, ZSE70, ZSE18, ZEN04, ZSE44... 45 devices in total) and a Hubitat C-8 Pro. I have the flexibility to self maintain my system without costly dealer visits or annual maintenance/support agreements. I'm probably about $2,500 all in, for the equivalent Control4 it would be $55-60k.
Hubitat can be a little intimidating to the less techie types but if you invest a bit of time you will be rewarded for your trouble. I am very happy with the ZOOZ products and Hubitat controlling it all.
Apparently you mistook my comment that control4 switches are high quality to rant about your control4 experience. I say good for you.
I run 3 systems and like all 3 including my hubitat.
Control4 switches are high quality and you don't have to follow their dealer model. But don't misunderstand. I'm not trying to sell anyone on control4. The purpose of the thread is premium switches at a low price and this doesn't exist. If you had control4 switches or the switches mentioned by the OP you would know the difference. This thread isn't about comparing platforms.
You can hack old generation control4 keypads to work on other platforms...but that's an ebay thing. I think you can do C4-KP6-Z with z2m.
If you want to continue the c4 discussion pm me. If your neighborhood is near me I'd be happy to liberate them all from their dealers. Takes 2 seconds. But the switches are still high quality.
