Predicate Hub Variables Broken?

@bravenel

Latest release seems to have broken something with using Hub Variables in predicate conditions and wait for events.

Broken what?

I'll have to do some more trouble shooting when I get home. Several of my RM5.1 rules have stopped working the only they have in common is that they use hub variables as conditions in predicate rules, or use wait for events using hub variables.

I'll update with more info ASAP

May be connected with this? Using variables as predicate condition in 2.2.9.139

I assume you mean Run Actions.

Why don't you show this rule? Run Actions does not check the Predicate at all.

Perhaps you should turn on Action Logging. ?

It has yet to be established that there is a problem. What you have described above is not sufficient to establish a problem exists. I'm not saying there is no problem, just that you have not demonstrated one. You said that running a rule did nothing, as if this were evidence of a Predicate problem. But, Predicate is not involved in that. You said that nothing happened, but you have not provided any logs to show that.

understood. I'll remove my posts.

just a comment - if your rule is "paused" and you click on run actions = nothing will happen.

Bug with variable in Predicate rule found and fixed. Next release.
