Trying Easy Dashboard for first time. My hubs are on current code. When I create virtual tile for OpenWeather’s in old dashboard I can select attributes to show forecast, temp, whatever I want and it works perfectly. When I create in easy dashboard or convert old dashboard to easy using the build in feature the only thing I get on the open weather tile is temp, humidity and illumuminance. I've rebooted, started over with dashboard and selected every setting combination on easy dashboard. Nothing works. Any help is greatly appreciated. I'm slowly losing my mind over this. ![]()
What new feature? It sounds like you may be talking about two different things. The new feature in the latest 2.4.3 release that it seems like you might mean is a feature of the hub's home page only, not related to Hubitat Dashboard or Easy Dashboard. See here for what it looks like or how to set up:
(There is an older weather tile, as noted below. I have a PWS that I'm just using the Multisensor tile with since it shows the data I care about, in case alternatives are good to know about!)
The weather tile is opinionated and doesn't have settings. It shows the summary of basic forecast, temperature, humidity, and wind speed. That's all there is to it.

There are other available tile types (like multi sensor or graph), but they focus on showing a single attribute.
That is a software design concept/term I was not previously aware of
But while we are talking about the weather tile. Please consider reversing the arrow. Its direction is the reverse of most accepted direction display formats. Please make the arrow point in the direction to where the wind is blowing to. West wind, arrow head points east.
Whether intended or not, the device can be used on Hubitat Dashboard exactly like the community OpenWeatherMap driver. It does appear that the native driver only collects the data needed to support the "Quick View Tile" and not all available weather data that the other driver does.
To be honest, I'm scratching my head wondering how useful it is to add weather info to a user interface intended to manage the hub. Not complaining .. just not sure what it is useful for.
