Is that a premium feature? I've been looking seriously into fingbox lately. I don't mind the hardware cost, but I'm trying to rationalize the subscription price.
I've been told by several techs (both AT&T and Spectrum) that wifi will typically only get about half the speed that wired gets, so what your seeing is about right.
As @aaiyar said, it's not. I had to look though, I bought mine during the Indiegogo campaign a few years ago, and they've implemented the whole "premium" thing since then.
