Are there any tutorials out there on how to do this? I had it working via MQTT in homeassistant however recently moved all of my setup over to hubitat - any help would be appreciated
I want to have my tablet on the wall with a keypad to arm/disarm HSM.
I don't want to presume anything or derail the thread, and I'm pretty sure there are going to be a few suggestions on how to do exactly what you want.
I'd just like to say that I initially wanted to do the same, but was unhappy with it.
So instead did this. Have usd this method for the past few years.
Quick and dirty writeup for a project I've used and reused a few times around the house. This allows you to use a cheap-■■■ RFID keypad such as this...
... which costs about a tenner on amazon to control all sorts of cool stuff if you connect to say, a nodeMCU/konnected. I use mine for changing modes of HSM for my security system, and the latest one was used to allow a rfid fob to open the garage door via a cheap relay,

The Virtual Basic Keypad operates more similar to a hardware keypad, and only interacts with HSM. There are limited options, but this only uses 1 device and no children devices. Since this doesnt have children devices, the Virt…
Thank you! I will give this a try
A bit late, but in case you haven't found a perfect solution yet have a look at
[RELEASE] Hubitat Dashboard

It's a free Android Dashboard that can control HSM as well as all your Hubitat devices. And for HSM you can set a PIN so when you try to enable or disable HSM an intruder couldn't do it without knowing the pin
