Out of town and accessed my HE to check my house. Got a popup that App was being discontinued as at 1st January 2025 but could still be used with no further updates. This new app doesnt show any devices or apps and freezes on dashboards. Logged out and uninstalled and went back to my cloud link and now HE will only show dasshboards and freezes loading page. Cannot get to management page to restore. Cannot see any of my apps. Literally hundreds of hours coding. I didnt update program so it should not have changed hub. ??????????
First, if all you did was delete an app from your phone, 99.9999% the issue is the app and/or your connection to the hub, and all the devices and apps you programmed are probably all still on the hub.
2nd, if you are not on the same local network as your hub (ie connected via cloud), unless you subscribe to remote admin, you cannot access your apps and cannot add devices (either via app or web).
3rd, many of us are having problem with the Android app. Are you using that or iOS? If Android, the new app returns a blank dashboard screen for me also. I can get to my dashboards fine via the old app.
Staff have said here that they wonโt retire the version 1 apps from the Apple App Store or google play store until widespread or major issues are resolved with further version 2 app development.
It could help if you can include info re: which app, the version, and your phone with OS version info too.
Have you tried removing and reinstalling the v1 app on your phone?
Continuing the discussion from New hubitat elevation App doesn't work:
Thanks for the info. Yes, I'm on Android so page freeze understood. Rebooted hub and all devices are indeed still there. Uninstalled versions 1 &2 and reinstalled v1 and all is back to normal.

The topic was closed because @Umzaan resolved their support issue by reinstalling the app.
