Staff have said here that they won’t retire the version 1 apps from the Apple App Store or google play store until widespread or major issues are resolved with further version 2 app development.
It could help if you can include info re: which app, the version, and your phone with OS version info too.
Have you tried removing and reinstalling the v1 app on your phone?
