Need help with setting up ZEN17

I install the driver and I add my device but I don't know how to configure it, I'm a novice

At the beginning I was trying to add 2CH Wifi DC-AC 7-32V Switch that is actualy install and working well with Alexa but I could not add to hubitat so someone recommend me to buy the ZEN17 Please help

Here you've included a picture of a zigbee MHCOZY relay... But in your other thread, you pictured a tuya wifi relay.

Do you now have a MHCOZY relay (to replace your tuya WiFi relay)? Or do you have a Zen 17?

Can you tell us more about your intended use case? What are you trying to do? If we understood that, a bunch of folks could probably help you.

I just received the ZEN 17 I added in hubitat but I don't know how to fix it, it's stay at off

I split your post off my driver release since it seems like this will need its own thread to work through.

My driver is not recognizing your device as a ZEN17. The device you have a picture of at the top is for sure NOT a ZEN17, if that is your actual device...

Please go to the Device Info tab and get a screenshot of the "Device Data" at the bottom.

Yeah, that "Unsupported Device..." note caught my eye too.

And I'm now 99.9% certain that the OP has that MHCOZY, not a Z17...

In this post of OP's original thread, JasonJoel mentions that he uses a Z17, but he posted an Amazon link to a MHCOZY -- I'm sure his intentions were simply to link a zigbee version of a relay that was otherwise very similar to OP's tuya wifi relay.

I never actually clicked JasonJoel's link until just now, so yeah, I'd bet anything that's the story here.

Definitely seems to be a bit of confusion here! No worries, I think we can get this sorted.

If you have the MHCOZY zigbee relay (and not the Zooz ZEN17 zwave relay), then change the type to "Generic Zigbee Switch" in the device details -> Device Info tab, and save it. There isn't anything else that needs to be configured.

Example:

You can then execute ON/OFF commands to the relay on the Commands tab or from rules, etc. You should hear the relay click when you issue the ON/OFF commands.

Hope that helps!

Good ol' bait and switch, tell them you like the ZEN17 and then give a link to the one you didn't like  I am sure it will still work fine though.

I own and use both the MHCOZY zigbee and Zooz ZEN17 relays.

I do prefer the ZEN17 in general though as it is much more versatile. But I had a ZEN17 fail once so popped in that MHCOZY one as a quick replacement (and never went back and replaced it with the replacement ZEN17).

The MHCOZY has a wider input voltage range, which is nice, and is physically much smaller than the ZEN17. But it is a single relay so can't be used for things like many linear actuators or DC motor control that need 2 inputs/double throw.

But I digress.

Thanks I succeed to add my relay, but I order a new one 2 CH MHCOSY and return the 1 CH, I used that relay to extend and to retract my linear actuator with the help you give me I wont have problems to add the new one,

Your driver works fine but I return the 1 CH relay and order a 2 CH MHCOSY because I need to retract and extend my actuator. Thanks

I succeed to had my relay but I return it to Amazon for refund and I order a 2 CH MHCOSY to make my actuator to extend and retract

I try to add the MHCOZY 2 Channel 5V 12V 32V WiFi Relay Switch,Tuya app Remote Dry Contact, I try with MHCOZY relays, Zooz 17, Zooz51 and no one works, please help

This WiFi device is not supported by Hubitat.

There's a zigbee MHCOZY relay that will work with Hubitat. However, it will not work with Zooz Zen17 or Zen51 drivers - those are z-wave devices.

If you are in North America, this is the link to the product you apparently need - the Zooz Zen17.

If you are not in North America, you will have to find a device that can be used in your jurisdiction.

Note:
Community members who follow up on this post - please do not add to the existing confusion in this thread. Do not recommend potential community drivers for WiFi products, unless you are prepared to work with the OP to get their momentary relay working.

Thanks I will order the ZOOZ 800 and I will return the MHCOZY 2 Channel to get a refund.
