Hello all,
I have this recessed door sensor from Monoprice .
The issue I am running into is that I am not getting any battery report back from the device using the Z-Wave Generic Contact Sensor or even a custom DH from this thread . See my dashboard below as I am not seeing anything for these two devices. Help??

Does the device status page in the admin UI show anything for battery?

How long has it been in place? If it doesn't show up in Current States, its not going to show up in Dashboard.
What driver is it set to? The screen shot just cut that off.

And how long have you had it paired to Hubitat?

For about 5 hours now. The issue is the Monoprice Door/Window Sensor (non-recessed) shows battery indication immediately. Same driver being used too.

Well, it might not have checked in, I assume you have clicked configure? Try that and give it about 24 hours to check in its battery level.

Remove/reinstall the cover a couple of times.
Apparently, when woken up by the z-wave/intrusion button, the sensor stays up longer.
Do not forget to press the Configure button (immediately after removing the cover)

Waiting seemed to do the trick. I did t have to remove cover but rather just hit configure and wait. Thank you for all the help everyone!
