Monitoring a French Door

Anyone have any ideas what to use for monitoring a french door that I don't have to drill holes?
On the inside. the door is recessed in to where I cannot surface mount the magnet. The door would rip it off when opening. My door looks like this photo.

Hinge sensor. I'll see if I can find the link.

Or maybe Sensative Strips.

Thanks guys.
On Amazon, ratings are not the best with Sensitive Strips. How are they for HE users?

I haven't had any issues with them but it obviously depends on your installation, layout, and mesh. Most home automation users just throw stuff together then get mad when it don't work in their junky setup. There are bad devices out there but not nearly as many deserve the negative reviews they get.

If you have a metal door don't use the inside hinge, or sensative strips, they could have signal issues. Use the hinge pin one instead.

I might try the Sensitive strip first.
Thanks for the assistance.

:+1: I have one on my sliding glass door. Works well (WAF high as she does not see it). Just open close battery, no bell or whistles.

I use this driver.

I have a door similar to yours.. and use the Aeotec Recessed door sensor with no issues..
