Just FYI to all- we could likely do the midea-discover functionality from Hubitat if this feature is ever added.

UDP broadcast support

I’d like to send some UDP broadcast packets. Is there any API for that?

Persistent UDP

We can add this request to the list of things that we haven't had time to get to yet but have value. UDP has not risen on our priority list due to low demand for it heretofore.
