It works in Hubitat out of the box using HE inbuilt Generic Matter Motion Sensor driver.

If anyone gets this Matter mmWave sensor before me, please share how it behaves.

Probably Matter over WiFi is the better communication protocol for spammy devices like the mmWave sensors and power/energy reporting outlets (instead of Zigbee).

Has anyone received the dispatch email yet, it is now the 27th and still no confirmation?

I haven’t received mine as well, but this is the first time I prepay for a new product that has estimated shipping date. I don’t know what is the ‘normal’ variation of an estimated shipment date, probably a few weeks?

I have only received the order confirmation email; have not received a tracking number or dispatch notification email yet :confused:
Also, second batch estimated shipping date is now 30th Sept, was 27th a few days ago!

Login to shop.meross.com, then go to ‘my account’ and you should see your order status and the tracking information.

Just shows status as "unfulfilled".

I am eager to receive it and compare the Meross mmWave Matter device with the other brands that I already have in use.

Meross app has approach, departure, distance, duration, absence, Lux.
Reminds me of Aqara FP1.

I see that this device also exposes the illuminance via the Matter interface, but most probably, that's all.

All device-specific configurations will be accessible only via the vendor app. This is the typical 'Matter approach'.

Apple Home shows illuminance but it doesn’t make it to HE.

I don’t have a matter bridge. The “Motion” appears to actually be presence, so it will work in my case.

The Advanced Matter Bridge package works with 'true' Matter devices as well... You don't need a M
Matter bridge for Matter over WiFi or Matter over Thread devices.

The Matter Bridge package should create two child devices - one motion and one illuminance device.
