Bumping this old thread. I just this week had Mini Splits installed. I'm considering getting an Aidoo Z-Wave device (AZAI6ZWUMEL) for one of them. Totalhomesupply sells them in the US. I'm guessing that I might be able to get it to work out of the box with Hubitat for basic thermostat controls, but that it might be a fair bit more work to incorporate other features like louver/vane motion. Has anyone tried this and/or made any progress with it? (There's also a Zigbee option AZAI6ZBEMEL, but I can't find it for sale anywhere.)
I'm also considering the WiFi controller AZAI6WSPMEL. I'm guessing this will be more annoying to get working with Hubitat but maybe easier overall because of Aidoo Cloud options. But I'd really like to use my Hubitat!
The third option I'm considering is some sort of CN105 option like GitHub - tinwer-group/mahtanar: Hardware controller for CN105 connector on Mitsubishi heat pumps · GitHub , which seems to be the approach that the Home Assistant community prefers, or a Hubitat-specific thing like [RELEASE] Mitsubishi Heat Pump + MQTT Driver, but I think I want something that involves a little less soldering, is a little less likely to risk my warranty, and doesn't require a separate running device for an MQTT broker.
Any thoughts? Especially about the Z-Wave option?
