I'm leaning towards that due to the price also. I don't know why the zwave valves are more expensive, but they are. And zigbee is fine for my application.
Oh, and can the leaksmart be turned manually in case of device failure (without power or batteries)? This is a requirement for code in some areas (I have to check my jurisdiction)
