The whole printing thing is still very novel to me, so I canât help but stand there and just watch it print.

Same here. When the layers are going down smoothly I find it soothing to watch. I;m getting used to it now, but it still feels like the 21st Century tech.

I've now printed 2.5 full spools of this on my P1P. No failed prints yet.
They were new in package, so nice and dry. Also printed some old PETG I had with no issues (but I do keep my filament in a tub with desiccant, stays 15-20% humidity in there).
Got all my pegboard panels done and mounted, peg mount spool holder (ball bearing style), pegboard Wyze camera mount, and starting to work on the backlog of crap I have to print. Printer has been running more or less constantly the past 4 days.
Side note, sure wish I would have realized one of the pegboard mounting screws goes behind where the aux fan mounts... Would have held off on installing the aux fan until the pegboard was done and mounted (not taking the fan out now... lol).

Default Generic PETG profile or are you using something else?
Octoprint is a great upgrade.
A nice addon plugin for Octoprint is Bed Level Visualizer
Using that on my Prusa MK3S+ with the silicone bed level mod
great tool to level the print bed and nice visual of how level the build plate is.
Really am tempted by Bambu Lab X1-Carbon or Original Prusa XL but like to wait for the 2-3 version for any issues to be worked out.
Running the Prusa MK3S+ with MMU2S but can't recommend the MMU2S. When it works it is great but for all the tinkering to make it work it's only worth $100 and I ended up not using it as much as I thought I would.

I'll have to look at that... My printer has auto bed leveling, so not sure if that's something I need... But looks like a great visual of the bed.
Yes mine also has auto leveling but I am ocd and am always trying to improve the printer.
I didn't see much or any improvements with the Silicone mod even though the bed was initially a little unlevel with the scans prior to the Silicone bed level mod.

Just to note, printed roughly 8 hours worth on this polymaker spool of PETG with the generic profile and havenât had any major issues.
That's too bad, one of those things that sounds fantastic but in the real world doesn't quite perform. (A lot like me, just ask my wife.) 
I'm looking forward to looking at the plugins you suggested just to see and play around them a little bit they look like they're going to be interesting.
Care to share any pics, sounds very interesting, especially the spool holder.
My wash and cure 2.0 and some clear resin arrived today.
However, I wonât be playing with it for a while as I had surgery this arvo to fix the carpal tunnel in my left hand.

So for those of you who are building/flashing FW, what's the real skinny on initializing the EEPROM after a FW update?
Something you do/worry about, or ? I haven't had any issues after updating my FW and I did not initialize the EEPROM.
What do people do when they are running low on a spool? I donât think I have enough to print the things I want to print ( I think I have maybe 60g worth of filament left). Does anyone have any small print recommendations to use some of it up?
Does anyone have a recommendation on a smaller humidity sensor? Would like to collocate a sensor near my filament and be able to hook it up Hubitat for monitoring.
I have a print going right now that made me weigh my spool to see if I had enough left. This is my first empty spool, so I had the same question. I just looked up some filament splicers. Some are DIY with STLs on Thingiverse, but the metal one on Amazon is only $9 but doesn't have great reviews. Not sure what I'm going to do yet.
