Since I started using @bptworld 's Event Engine , things have gotten much simpler and much for reliable for me . Bryan is awesome about helping you get things to work how you want or need them to.
I have notifications working with the app, but also have set up the pushover app and use that integration . Truth be told I find the pushover notification more reliable. Just wish they could be actionable (that goes for the app notifications as well). The biggest issue I have with notifications is figuring out how to write them correctly. I kind of wish there was a selection of predetermined notifications to choose from from certain devices like door and window sensors, motion , etc.
