Issue with IKEA TRADFRI Driver 30W - missing dimmer level

Hi Community.

I am trying to configure a new IKEA TRADFRI Driver 30W. It paired easily, and it was a pleasure to note that a few IKEA drivers are now native to Hubitat.

Sadly, I have run into a snag. The unit has a dimmer function, which works when configured with IKEA's systems, but not with Hubitat. So it runs at 100% all the time, which is too bright for my usecase.

I tried updating the device firmware, but it is already on the latest version.

Here are the device details:

  • firmwareMT: 117C-4109-00010002
  • manufacturer: IKEA of Sweden
  • model: TRADFRI Driver 30W
  • softwareBuild: 00010002

Is there a way to get the dimmer working, so I can set the level to my taste?

If the HE inbuilt driver is not working for some reason with this Ikea LED driver, you can try the community drivers - more info here :
