Thanks for the reply. It wasn't the move to C8 specifically in question. I didn't see them on the C8 or any other hub since the C5 that I recall, until this latest update.

I'll use the updated drive @csteele posted and call it done.

A lot of people have the aqara and xiaomi stuff drop off. They don't quite properly follow the zigbee protocol 100%. People have used ikea repeaters to stabelize... YMMV.... I gave up on them and sonoff. I got Moes and they've been rock solid.

Same here. I sold all my aqara stuff, and I'm considering moving into Moes, after reading some opinions. Your voice is only confirming my initial choice.

I recently found very nice looking "MEIAN" Door Window Sensors (DW01), and I will give them a chance, I did not test them yet. Reasonably small, and looks in modern way.

They are looking that way.

They cost approx 10 € / pcs, when buying them is 6x pack.

And they are mostly in USA. For USA citizens they are indeed good choice, but when adding cost of shipment and import fees, for EU citizens they will cost only a bit less than buying other from china / ali express.

What's your battery life on these? I've seen reports they chew through batteries every 4 months.

All of mine have been in around 9 months now and show in the 90's for battery. (stock battery). I monitor them for drop off and none have. So far my best zigbee devices. (along with my NYCE sensors)

+1 on this issue. I am having the same issues with adding new Zigbee devices and having the Zigbee radio fall offline and be irrecoverable until a reboot of the hub.

C8 Issues with Adding and Controlling Sengled Devices

Another thing to note on this, My Zigbee Radio keeps failing and/or crashing. It is up for a couple of days, then all of a sudden I can't control any Zigbee devices. I log onto the Hubitat and find that the Radio is stuck on Initializing / Initialising. I try to rebuild, reboot the radio from the Hubitat, nothing restores it. The logs show that it flipps between offline and online a couple of times before I have logged on to troubleshoot. Only thing that restores the radio to functional is …

Request adding fingerprints for iAlarm/Meian devices

I recently got some iAlarm devices for review (for free) and needed to manually set the type. Here are the fingerprints - maybe they could be added? These are sold by iAlarm, but the manufacturer stamps on the devices is Meian. FWIW, I don't recommend any of these. While the devices all work fine, but I'm not particularly impressed with them. They don't seem to do regular updates, so you'll never know if they stop working. I personally like sensors that report in at least once a day to that I …

Thanks for info. I will observe them, especially watching status update issues. If I will not be satisfied, then I may decide to use upcoming Aqara sensors, latest generation which supports Matter / Thread.

Edited: I send back "MEIAN" Door Window Sensors (DW01), they was too bulky for me, not fitting my windows.

I had the same problem with all new zigbee devices. I switched back to C7 and they all pair.
