It has 4 individually controlled power outlets plus 4 USB-A Ports, 2.1A combined, no power monitoring option.
USB Ports also could be turned On/Off, all 4 together but independent from power outlets.
The suitable driver is built-in "Generic Zigbee Multi-Endpoint Switch" but must be manually assigned after pairing is complete. Pairing is pretty much straight forward process.
I am always very skeptical to buy something from unknown manufacture/source but this (mentioning Hubitat) was a selling point. So, I decided to try. Got this toy today and yes, I like it.
@kkossev found some issues with different strip versions working well only with specific HE hub versions.
Personally I tried a ZigBee strip with a C5 and ended up returning it.
Would be really nice to find something that plays better with the Hubitat C5.
I thought it looked like the Wi-Fi one's I have bought before (didn't use the smarts, just thought I'd get a smart one in case, knowing it was Smart Life).
Based on the reviews, several Hubitat users have them. It'll be interesting to see how this goes. I have a couple places where smart powerstrips would be great, but the Zooz Zen20s (non 800's) were IMO a bit flaky, and the 800's are quite pricy.
Yeah, I have 2 still, and they work, but if I have to move them to a new hub, it makes me nervous. Since 2019, I've had 4 or 5 of them, and only 2 remain in use, and I think I have a spare. But 2 failed utterly.
With that said, I love Zooz devices on the whole, but the Zen20 is & has been relatively expensive, and in my experience a bit...flaky.
If they were nearer $50 than $90, perhaps I'd be more forgiving! Lol
