That functionality has not been released yet.

I keep my Dirigera plugged in and connected to get updates.

Matter, thread, and wi-fi have not been rolled out to the Dirigera yet.

The Thread interface in Home Assistant only shows my Echo 4 and Aeotec/SmartThings TBRs.

Ikea’s long-awaited Matter update just went into beta

After a lengthy delay, Ikea's promised Matter update for its Dirigera smart hub is finally poised to arrive.

Unfortunately, that article doesn't mention Thread. I'm currious if this update is Matter over IP only, or does it include the ability for the Dirigera to be a TBR too?

Evidently it looks like it is/will be a TBR...I found a few sources saying Thread is/will be included when Matter support is enabled:

Yeah, that's the old info I was referring to as well. Will and does are not the same :wink:
Hopefully for those that are looking for a low cost TBR, this will become available at some point.

The Dirigera has two identical Silicon Labs MGM210LO22JNF2 radios/chips in it (zigbee, bluetooth, and thread).

I had always assumed one would be for Zigbee communication and the other would be for Thread/Matter.
