I am a subscriber to IFTTT and Pay $80/year for the Pro+ plan. Obviously that lets me have a LOT of IFTTT sketches (or whatever).
Yes, I have Hubitat setup to be used with IFTTT and use it to alert me as to low winter temperatures that may risk pipe damage from freezing. I had a lot of other ones too integrating with Wyze but they were overwhelming my email limits of 1000/month, so I have cut back to avoid yet another subscription.
Now I have subscribed to Hubitat remote management, and the obvious thing is to keep all my IFTTT stuff asis and add more goodies. But, it looks like the IFTTT and Hubitat integration is limited to ONE Hub at a time, and you have to change it manually.
Does anyone know how to access 2 hubs, and not have to create a second (an pricey) IFTTT account to handle the traffic?
Two separate locations, very far from each other. I would have imagined that subscribing to remote management would have ensured this would not be a challenge.
The “Remote Admin” Hubitat subscription service allows the user to access all of their HE Hubs’ web interfaces while away from the local LAN the HE hub is connected to. That’s all it provides. Hubitat Hub cloud integrations are all provided free of charge, including access to the hub’s dashboards, punch notifications, geofencing, etc…
Hubitat’s IFTTT, Amazon Alexa, and Google Home integrations only support a single Hubitat Hub at a time. None of these require a Hubitat subscription.
You may want to consider letting the Hubitat Hubs take over much of which IFTTT is currently doing, if possible practical. I use IFTTT to enable/disable some Wyze Cams based on my main Hubitat Hub’s “Mode”. If we are all away from the house, Hubitat tells IFTTT to turn on the Indoor Wyze Cams. When anyone arrives home, the cams are turned off.
So, I do see the value that IFTTT provides for some use-cases. For everything else, Hubitat takes care of automations as well as notifications for my needs.
