I noticed that Ebay international shipping is a bit greedy when it come to international shipping. BTW, I am US base. Ebay shipping does not allow combine shipping for international shipping.

Here is what I can do. I can combine all shipping to international destination up to 5 sensor in one box. I will refund the cost of shipping after the first sensor up to 5 sensors.

You can always PM me here for purchase to skip Ebay as well.

Hi Everyone,

I just want to let everyone know that I have started work to get my sensor working in Zigbee2mqtt.

As mqtt support in Hubitat is coming a long very well, if any member here may have the need to run my sensor in Zigbee2mqtt for some reason, I want to make sure that it will work. The feature supported is not in parity to the Hubitat DTH. However, the core Light, Temperature, Humidity, Pressure is working as expected. The maintaner of Zigbee2mqtt is nice enough to merge my pull request at this moment.

Yes, it is. But, you are ahead of me on this one. I have not tried the mapping feature yet.

@nutcracker, The map is very cool. It works by publishing to a topic. You will get back JSON of your network. From the linked url, you can get the graph by entering that JSON.

I suppose that the above process can be automated and displayed in Doashboard.

Hello Iman , new sensor is working great. It's routing for many devices, and with excellent strength.

@Rxich,

There should be an option to shutdown the messages. Is this what you are looking for?

If you disable set it to disable, It should not send any info messages to the log window.

Let me know if this is not what you are looking for.

Thanks Iman. So even tho messages are not displayed, they are still generated-yes or no?
If they are not used is possible to stop from being generated totally? To lessen load on hub having to process more messages, even tho not displayed

LOG messages are either created, or not. There is no way to “hide” them from view. So, by turning off the toggle in the user preferences for the device, that logging is disabled completely.

I’d have to look at the code, but I believe those messages are all being parsed by the driver. What you’re seeing in the logs is the data coming in directly from the device before it is parsed into status updates for the various attributes.

@Rxich, The parsed information is the Zigbee packets. There are some information that useful when I am curious about what kind of data coming in from the sensor and how often. However, I do not need the information in long term. That is why I have the option to disable the log all together.

This is in fact a request from a member here. I forget who requested. A lot of driver done similar thing also. In fact some of DTH has timeout to automatically disable them.

I hope this help to understand how I use the information.

The possibilitys with the Bluetooth/ZigBee chip! Could be a environment/person sensor, no only know if there is motion but also who that person is by their phone Bluetooth. Amazing

I have the sensor on sale at Ebay. I have a few member that had them ship with Ebay Global shipping to UK. I am guessing it went fine. It is just probably a bit long due to Covid-19.

A member here made 3D printed case. You may have to adjust the sensor values in Driver page if you run it with 3d case. Unlike battery powered device, the MCU is powered up 100% of the time. This generate heat. When the sensor running naked, the specific temperature sensor can be oriented on the bottom to minimize the heat impact on the sensor (one of the picture on my ebay listing show this recommended orientation). With the case, there should be an offset in reading because of the heat that cannot escape the case. This heat is hard to detect with hand (touch) but the sensor can measure it.

This case is made by @brianspranger. This is probably the way to start with getting your own case.

I got three of these things yesterday; all work great and function better than any other environmental device I have purchased. Very well done and thank you! Not to pile on because I see a couple of fixes in here that I can employ and it doesn't take away from the product itself: the green light is a tad much It does function as a nice nightlight but will probably take some caulk to it since it connected without any issue at all and I have been monitoring it all day today.

@clintonathomas1979, thank you for the feedback. I am adjusting the brightness of the led on the next batch. They will be much more dimmer than current setting. If I still getting similar feedback, I will removed the led on future batches.

Hi Everyone,

I just want to update everyone that I got a new batch. The only change is the brightness of LED indicator. It is now should one tenth of the previous batch. I do not have side by side comparison. If you feel that the light is still too bright, the next step is to remove them on the next batch. I do not want to remove it at this point because this feature was actually requested.

In this batch, I made available small quantity of radio that you can plugged in an external antenna. In the past, I have offered this model to the community. The demand is very low. It is inconvenient that you need to purchase separate 2.4 Ghz 50 Ohm antenna. The antenna connector is IPX. I can keep very small quantity of this model for those who may need an installation that require external antenna. If you need one, please reach out and PM me here. I will not make this available in my Ebay store.
