I tried troubleshooting, but it didn’t work. I suspect the app on my iPhone might be corrupted because the local network works fine when I log in with my iPad. However, when I log into my wife’s account on my iPhone, the same 'cloud' issue occurs. Is there a way to completely delete the app and all its files from my iPhone to reset it? I’ve already tried several troubleshooting steps, including deleting and reinstalling the app multiple times, restarting the hub, and even downgrading the firmware to a previous version, but unfortunately, none of these actions have resolved the problem. My only guess is that the app is corrupted in my phone.
I have the same problem. It appears that the app is buggy, not corrupted, and the HE staff is looking into it.
Please let me me know if it gets fix on your phone

Thank you! I hope so. It has been very inconvenient
Another thing I noticed is that when I’m away from my home network, the app struggles to connect to the remote admin cloud. This makes it difficult to adjust settings remotely.
Any idea when the update will be available? I am having a lat of problems controlo l the app on cloud mode when I need to make a few adjustments to my automations.
Thanks!
While we wait for the fix, when on your home LAN please simply open up a web browser, and navigate to http://your.hub.ip.address (replace the “your.hub.ip.address” with you hub’s actual local TCP/IP address, like 192.168.1.123)
Any updates on the fix?
When there is an app update it will be posted here: Releases - Hubitat
May want to join the beta program for the app, then you will get it as soon as it is available: [BETA RELEASE] New Hubitat Mobile App available in TestFlight for iOS - version 2.0.0
You can easily switch back to the app store version any time, so this is a very low risk beta.
I am a little confuse. Is the hubitat beta on test flight a new app? Or a new version/update of the app? In the test flight app, the hubitat beta version is 2.1,1, but on my hub the current version I have is 2.4.1.153. After the latest update in the hub, my hubitat still shows as (Cloud) instead of (Local) when I am at home.
Any suggestions?
This is the version number of the mobile app that runs on your phone.
This is the version number of the firmware running on your hub.
Oh, ok. Do you recommend to download the hubitat beta from TestFlight? Is that a new app version?
Yes, cloud/local is working ok for me with the version in TestFlight.
2.1.1 is ahead of what’s available in the regular App Store (2.1.0).
Yes, it is a very low risk beta because if you do have any major issues you can just roll back to the App Store version any time.
Alright, I’m going to delete the old app, restart the hub, and then download the TestFlight Hubitat new app. Hopefully, that will resolve the cloud issue that’s been causing so many headaches. Does that sound like the best approach?
If you already have the 2.x app you can just update to the new one via TestFlight, no need to delete.
