I picked this mounting bracket up on Ebay. Super nice. Hub slides into it and seems very secure. Wish I'd had it a long time ago

Sounds good.
This bracket has been designed to provide optimum airflow within the already placed vents on the unit. It DOES NOT hamper airflow.
