Now I need to pull a new cat6 cable without having to break to much drywall.

Are you sure it's the cable and not the connectors? It's a lot easier to just change out connectors.

Ya I already changed the 2 keystone connectors at each end before laying out a new cable across the hallway with same results, so only thing left was the cable it self.
